PLANTS AND THEIR FLOWERS MAKE THE WORLD A MORE JOYFUL PLACE

Many occasions are marked by the giving or wearing of flowers, and people visit flower gardens and forests just to participate in the serenity that these places have. I have always loved flowers and plants. Whether they are formal roses, sassy gerbera daisies or smooth succulents, they all have a place in my heart. Flowers in formal settings draw you in with their beauty of form and the perfection of their petals while those in gardens will attract you with their joyful abundance. Foliage is often understated but gives a space a cool and calm feel, promoting relaxation in a busy world. In any case, the feeling of mindful serenity they elicit is wonderful. In these three galleries, I have selected my favourite flower and foliage images, shot either in the studio or in gardens. Each will evoke a different feeling in your heart.
